FIU Rector Professor, Dr. Abdullah Öztoprak, appearing as a guest on the BRTK new channel here in North Cyprus, re-affirmed our commitment at FIU to the highest standards of education and service. Dr. Öztoprak emphasized that we carefully monitor our students’ progress and class attendance and are committed to recruiting only genuine students wishing to benefit from the education we offer. In the case of students who do not attend classes, or who have come to our island for other purposes, the authorities are informed and the students deregistered.

Dr. Öztoprak emphasized many other aspects of FIU’s quality policies and philosophy, including our recruitment of highly-qualified academics, our selective admission procedures, and our generous merit-based scholarship system. FIU is committed to quality over quantity, and transparent measurability of our success.
