Final International University at the Antalya Health, Sports and Alternative Tourism Fair

Final International University participated in the Health, Sports and Alternative Tourism Congress and Fair in Antalya. The FIU stand introduced the University, especially the departments of Tourism and Physical Education Teaching. The Director of FIU School of Physical Education and Sports, Assist. Prof. Dr Taner Erdoğan gave a presentation entitled ‘Preparation Camps and Sports Tourism in North Cyprus’ as well as conducting a number of other official duties. At the conference, Erdoğan gave detailed information about technological devices being developed for sportsman performance analysis under the auspices of Final International University.

More Than 450 Visitors to The Final International University Stand

The Health, Sports and Alternative Tourism Fair (HESTOUREX) was organised by the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and supported by the Economy, Culture and Tourism, Development, Youth and Sports and Health Ministries. It took place in Antalya from April 6th-9th and over 4000 participants from 150 countries took part. On the first day of the Congress, more than 450 visitors came to the FIU stand.

Sports Tourism in North Cyprus

Many foreign participants attended the presentation of The Director of FIU School of Physical Education and Sports, Dr. Taner Erdoğan. Dr. Erdoğan gave information about preparation camps as well as sports tourism and talked about the steps needed for improvements in both areas. Erdoğan gave detailed information about the athlete performance analysis laboratory, which will be equipped with state-of-the-art devices and established at Final International University. The laboratory will allow for training, preparation of, and performance analysis of future athletes both at home and. The Final International University Athletic Performance Analysis Laboratory, which is still in the process of establishment, is expected to contribute to TRNC sports tourism at the same time.

Cooperation With The Kosovo Cycling Federation

Dr. Erdoğan also met with many foreign representatives and he came together with the president of the Kosovo Cycling Federation as well as the president of the Kosovo Sport Sciences Association, Avni Nuha, setting the stage for cooperation with Final International University. Nuha also invited Dr. Erdoğan to the Sports Sciences Congress which is planned for May, in Kosovo.
