FIU students as well as academic and administrative staff participated in trip to the Lefke region of Northern Cyprus. After spending some time picking mandarins in the fruit orchards of Gaziveren, the participants proceeded to the ancient city of Soli to learn more about the history of our island. The day out concluded with a picnic lunch by the shores of the sea, an ideal way to wind down from the stresses of the exam week.
